The Ohio State University

Message from the Project Director

Welcome to the first edition of the Enterprise Project Digest, a reoccurring newsletter for project news and information on how to drive and support change. I encourage you to share the information with colleagues, and pass along the link to subscribe.

The Enterprise Project is a business process transformation and system implementation that will leverage Workday and other enterprise technologies to advance Ohio State’s mission and strategic plan. As part of the Architect phase, we are finalizing business processes for finance, HR and payroll, and designing initial processes for student services. The project team is also working with institutional partners to determine the existing data and systems to integrate with new technology, among other activities. On behalf of the project team, thank you for supporting this transformational effort.

—John Hrusovsky, Project Director

Welcome to Workday

Workday Homepage

A central component of the Enterprise Project is replacing PeopleSoft with Workday, a cloud-based application that will serve as a single system for Ohio State’s finance, HR, payroll and student information and processes.

The benefits of Workday for Ohio State include:

  • Mobile and secure access to information
  • Improved data utilization and reporting
  • Greater visibility into university transactions and processes
  • More frequent upgrades to keep current

Welcome to modern systems and more efficient processes. Welcome to Workday.
