Surveys
Please continue surveying students and educators at your school (if interested, there are also parent surveys available). Please read the instructions that were e-mailed to you before starting the survey process, and remember these need to be completed by
February 1. Check survey response rates
here.
*Note: The student and parent versions are available in Spanish as well. You’ll see a drop down menu of the online version to select English or Spanish.

Professional Development
NEW! Free Online Course: Financial Aid & College Applications
January 24 - March 21: Developed for practicing professional school counselors, pre-service school counselors, and college access professionals, this free online course includes four sessions that address financial aid literacy, completing the FAFSA, and preparing college applications. The module focuses on how school counselors and college access professionals can support parents and students in navigating financial aid and successfully preparing for postsecondary admissions and applications.

School Trainings
As a GEAR UP Affiliate, your school is eligible to receive a one-day workshop at no charge with our consultants. If you would like more information, please contact your GEAR UP liaison. If you are ready to book, please contact them directly to set up a professional development day that is ideal for your school.
College Visit Funds
Oregon schools may apply for matching funds up to $750/visit for
school field trips to college campuses and college fairs. Funds may be used for transportation, substitutes for teachers attending the field trip, meals, or other expenses. Schools will be reimbursed after the visit. Funds are first-come, first-served, with priority given to Affiliate schools.
