Buddhist and Ghost Plays with Madam Chen Qiaoru

In celebration of the Year of the Dog, the UCLA Confucius Institute is pleased to present three opportunities to see Sichuan opera, one of the world's most unusual theater traditions. 
Led by award-winning performer Madam Chen Qiaoru and guest artists from Chengdu, this program features tales from the spirit realm and showcases Sichuan opera's unique a cappella music style and its show-stopping face-changing acting technique.
