Greetings and happy new year to you! How are you feeling, now that it is 2018? I must admit that I breathed (and screamed) a few sighs of relief as I awoke on 1/1/18. One of the things that thrills me about 2018 is that numerologically speaking, it is a year for mastery. Mastery of what, you might ask? Anything that feels right & aligned with what you came here to do! It is also a year of relationships and their mastery.
As I hang out in my corner of the Human Potential movement, I think about relationships a lot. I can tell you from the clients that I see and have seen in my practice -- relationships are the number one thing that humans inquire about, when visiting a psychic/medium & energy healer. For good reason -- humans are meant to feel connected. We came here as spirits in human bodies to experience emotions, predominantly. I've been working on emotional mastery for years, and I will be for the rest of my life, lol! As an empath and a spiritual entrepreneur -- mastering what is mine, someone else's or the collective experience is key to both my personal sanity and my professional service to others. Two observations that I'll offer you today on emotions, from where I sit:
- Emotions (like everything) are energy. Treat them as such. Honor them, feel them, allow them to flow and move through you. If you find yourself unable to get off of an emotional hamster wheel or a mental loop -- change your state. Move your body. Breathe some fresh air. Turn to a different task to hold your attention. Express creatively. Journal.
- Emotions are one of the ways that our intuition communicates with us. Listen to them and what they may be telling you about yourself, a situation or someone else. If they or their messaging overwhelm you, take some space from them as you might take space from an intense situation.
