Dear Friends,

Welcome to this special-edition Gut Microbiota for Health newsletter, all about our exciting upcoming event -- the GMFH World Summit 2018!

Below, we give you all the details about the 7th edition of the GMFH World Summit, to be held in Rome on March 10th and 11th, 2018. Dr. Francisco Guarner (Digestive System Research Unit, University Hospital Vall d'Hebron, Barcelona), Chair of the 2018 GMFH scientific committee, is overseeing a speaker lineup of international scientific experts in the field of gut microbiota -- and the committee has included exceptional speakers who can provide information about the gut microbiota that health professionals can apply in their daily practice. In addition, following on the success of last year's gut microbiota & diet workshop, this year's summit will feature a workshop designed specifically for dietitians about gut microbiota targets in nutrition.

Check out the two reports from last year's Gut Summit: (1) the official GMFH World Summit 2017 report, and (2) the 2017 special workshop report on nutrition and gut microbiota.

If you're a researcher, there's still time to submit your abstract for a poster presentation! The scientific committee will receive submissions until January 26th.

We hope you'll register and join us in beautiful Rome to find out all the latest in the field of gut microbiota!
