• Centered in Song - Chicago introduces participants to the new Center for Congregational Song (a part of the Hymn Society in the United States and Canada) has to offer. February 3, 2018, in Park Ridge, Illinois.
• The Hymn Society in the United States and Canada 2018 Song Search invites entries for its 2018 conference, “Sacred Song and the Public Square.” Entries must be received by May 15, 2018.
• Animate is a five-day summer program in worship leadership for teenagers and their adult mentors sponsored by the Center for Worship and the Arts on the campus of Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. June 25-29, 2018. Registration is now open.
• Theology, Race, and the Practice of Christian Ministry is a weeklong seminar for pastors and ministry leaders to pursue a deep imaginative transformation by reading and discussing Willie Jennings’ book The Christian Imagination: Theology and the Origins of Race with the author, and reflecting on theology, race, and the practice of Christian ministry in light of the book’s themes.
