BCCAT Updates for our Partners

JANUARY 2018

Get ready for "Articulation Season"

As we start the New Year, we look forward to another busy season of articulation committee meetings and planning is underway for BCCAT staff to attend meetings across the province. We are pleased to note that several committees are combining their meetings with others of a similar discipline which saves on valuable time and travel costs. The Articulation Committee Companion is the ultimate resource for information on committee organization. A list of currently scheduled meetings can be found on the Articulation Section of the website as well as a list of Articulation Committee Contacts. See the articulation section of the BCCAT website for access to further information and resources.

New and Improved TCS!

BC’s transfer network can look forward to a new and improved Transfer Credit System (TCS), which leverages newer and smarter technologies that improve the integrity of the articulation agreements database and increase the efficiency of the business processes that post-secondary institutions (PSI's) currently use to articulate transfer credit requests. Our PSI transfer partners will begin using the new system as we soft launch in February, 2018. Training resources will be available, and training sessions can also be arranged for transfer credit practitioners and their teams. Please contact Jennifer at jkook@bccat.ca if you have any questions about the TCS roll out.
