A Call to Membership
Contributed by Alan Saly, Pathwork Press Chair

Dear Pathwork Helpers and Students Worldwide,

At this critical point in world history, where threats to humankind from weapons of war and to the environment from continued exploitation are growing, our Pathwork is poised  to play a vital role in the development of humanity.

We know well that raising consciousness is the single most important work that can and should be done here on this earth. With more people who understand their inner conflicts and dynamics, and who  can find their connection to their God-self, the overall condition of humanity improves, and much sorrow and pain can be averted. This is our task – to raise our consciousness, and to raise the consciousness of the human family. Read More.

Our thoughts, beliefs, emotions, and attitudes are multi-layered and multi-faceted. Often opposing motives and desires lay hidden in the unconscious. Without a thorough, intentional exploration of everything that lives in us, we may be contributing to the negative creation of our life experiences without realizing it.

It is possible to create a life of intimacy, fulfillment and connection. And the choice to create positively begins by saying “Yes” to this exploration, “yes” to being willing to know where and how we are sabotaging our best life in subtle, destructive ways.

We have to say “Yes” to our “No.”

In today’s challenging and tumultuous landscape, the world is calling out to all those bold enough to believe they can create more love, compassion and joy to share with others.

Would that be you? Do you hear the call?

In this interview with Rev Ernie Curtin the Reverend discusses how the spiritual dimensions of the Pathwork bring a multidemensional perspective to the personal work as compared to the one-dimensional, psychological aspects of therapy.

Believing Is Seeing

Contributed by David Schwerin

Read previous . . . . . There are no miracles. Everything is based on universal laws. Miraculous events are but another name for actions that are not understood. Cause and Effect and Self-Responsibility are two of the most important governing laws. Everything we do has a cost. If you overspend today, you must be correspondingly frugal tomorrow. This is the essence of self-responsibility.

“Many people live above their means; they coast on debts; they cover one hole with another, newly created hole. Building on deficit can appear to succeed for a while. That is the trouble. What is false seems to work for a while and becomes temporarily convincing.” Pathwork Lecture 250

Hoping for miraculous solutions is folly. To avoid a severe crisis, we must live within our means and choose priorities that reflect compassion and generosity, so the inequality gap is diminished!

“Relationships as a Path to Joy and Fulfillment”
Contributed by Wendy Hubbard

By the time I encountered the Pathwork® in 1972, I could already see that “evil” is a superimposed label that the mind gives to what we don’t want to see in ourselves, a way to distance ourselves from what we reject. The Pathwork teachings offer brilliant insights into “evil” – in the form of the personal lower self – outlining its origins in trauma, its evolution as a defense against pain, and also the possibility for its transformation. The Hidden Key to Success in the Environmental Movement

Contributed by Charles Cresson Wood

We think about, or at least the mass media directs our attention to, many terrible things that are happening “out there in the world.” The list is a long one including climate change, toxic pesticides, top soil erosion, species extinction, and overpopulation. The fact is that the key to success in the environmental movement is “in here,” and by that phrase, I mean inside our heads, hearts, feelings, thoughts, and souls. All the scary facts about what’s happening out there in the world are symptoms of an inner sickness inside us, a sickness that desperately and urgently needs to be healed. Read More.
