Meeting Details:
The Virginia Pond's regular monthly meeting will be held Wednesday, January 17, at Nick's Roman Terrace in the Westland Shopping Center, 8051 West Broad Street in Richmond. Please join us for Social Hour at 5:30 pm! The meeting will follow at 6:30 and includes a plated dinner of your choice.
The meeting fee is $27.00 when paid in advance (by the RSVP deadline) or $30.00 at the door.
Our Guest Speaker for the evening is Anne-Marie Worthy, Special Gifts Coordinator for Comfort Zone Camp (CZC). Anne-Marie will talk a bit about the organization as well as what they were able to do with the funds raised from the Pond's October Shuckin' & Jivin' charity event.
In order to make proper meeting arrangements, RSVP’s are needed by Monday, January 15. Please use the RSVP link below to sign up for the meeting online. You will directed to a PayPal payment option once your reservation is complete. RSVP's will also be accepted by email (vapondrsvp@gmail.com) or by phone (804-928-8969).

Note: Your RSVP is your commitment to pay the reservation fee, regardless of attendance. RSVP's may be cancelled by 3pm the day before the meeting with no obligation.

- Wednesday, March 21 - Save the date! In lieu of its regular monthly meeting, the Virginia Pond will host a St. Paddy's Day Social at O'Toole's Irish Pub on Forest Hill Avenue. Guests are welcome!
- Saturday, April 18 - The NoVA Puddle will host its first annual Charity Golf Tournament at Bull Run Golf Club in Haymarket, VA. See details.

- 2017 Shuckin' & Jivin' for CZC - Thanks again to all the sponsors and guests who made the Pond's annual Shuckin' & Jivin' such a success! Comfort Zone Camp (CZC) was thrilled to receive the 'big check' representing a total of $6300 raised through event proceeds and some personal donations. This is a 40% increase over the 2016 proceeds! If you haven't yet done so, check out the event photos.
- 2017 Christmas Social - The Pond had another very successful holiday celebration at the Virginia War Memorial. In addition to enjoying the venue, fellowship, and awesome food, we were able to raise awareness of the memorial; support the memorial through the facility rental fees; and raise donations of items and cash for the USO of Central Virginia - a 'win' all the way around! A special "thank you" to the sponsors who supported the event: Jenkins Restoration and US Financial Group. See the USO's letter of appreciation here.
