January
The year began with another great anniversary service at La Fe Iglesia Bautista in Orizaba Mexico. Max preached his very first sermon in Spanish!
|
|
February
God blessed us with the opportunity to serve in a new church plant in San Jose, Costa Rica with Pastor Isaac Moya. Great practical training for us!
|
|
|
March
A Christian School from Montana came to Nicaragua to pour a new concrete floor and furnish the nursery in the Pueblo Nuevo Church!
|
|
April
We were able to help send off the riders of “Ride Extreme” from Texas to Nicaragua. They raised money to help build Youth Sports Centers!
|
|
|
May
God provided a location to begin ministry in Estelí, Nicaragua. It has served well so far, but I think we may outgrow it sooner than we imagined!
|
|
June
Pastor Kent Wilson and his wife Karen brought a group from Houston to help us begin fixing up the house in Estelí. The group painted, fixed electrical, and encouraged us a lot!
|
|
|
July
Another group from Georgetown came to continue painting, ministering, and blessing us! They finished all the painting, kitchen sink, and electrical issues! Thank you guys!
|
|
August
Graduated from Language School and moved to Estelí to continue our language learning on the street! Language School provided a great foundation for the future!
|
|
|
September
We hosted a medical team from Texas & Michigan to the church in Jalapa and the results were incredible! Thank you guys for your work!
|
|
October
We spent most of the month setting up our home and church spaces. Jennifer finally had a place to decorate. Max had a lot of holes to drill!
|
|
|
November
We had our first 3 meetings for people interested in helping us launch a church in Estelí. The groups continued to grow!
|
|
December
Our final meeting in 2017. 81 people came and 16 accepted Jesus! God gets all the glory! What a way to end the year. Can’t wait to see what’s in store for 2018!
|
|
