Haitian-born artist Edouard Duval-Carrié returns to Tallahassee in February for the opening of Decolonizing Refinement, an exhibition of his works hosted at the Museum of Fine Arts, arranged by an Art History curatorial team, and associated with a symposium on African Diaspora and Caribbean Studies on February 17.

Professor Carrasco’s 2017 NEH Fellowship Activities

Professor Michael Carrasco has returned to teaching after a rich and productive year-long NEH Fellowship, during which time he worked on his book, co-authored six papers, interviewed bamboo artists, studied tea cultivation and forestry in Japan, and was named an official Mejiron Foreign Correspondent to represent Oita Prefecture.
