An EdTechTeam Impact Lab is a program that includes a two-day high-energy event featuring Google for Education. Grounded in EdTechTeam Honeycomb for school change, the program will focus on areas such as courageous leadership, empowered educators, engaged community, and inspiring learning spaces.

Educators will answer the question, “What is your impact?” and develop a plan of action around this goal. Through a collaborative effort, attendees will aim towards putting their impact goals into action.

The start of a new year is a great time to try out some new edtech tools, and educatorstechnology.com has updated their popular visual ‘Teachers' Favourite Apps’ to get you started. This is a collection of some useful apps curated based on interaction and feedback regarding reviews shared on the site. The collection is especially useful for teachers new to the 'educational app culture' and are looking for some reliable recommendations to try out in class. The updated post can be found here.

Region 10’s Annual Technology Conference will be held Wednesday, May 16, 2018. Our keynote speaker will be John Spencer, and he will inspire us to shift towards empowerment.

The event is free for educators and brings together inspiring teachers, campus and district leaders to share practical digital learning tools and strategies to create engaging classrooms and life-long learners. We are aware that this year’s Technology Conference falls within the May testing window, so please check your calendars and availability before you register or submit a presentation proposal.

Check out our page on the Region 10 website for the links for registration and for submitting a presentation proposal.
