Happy Choice Five!
Hello Spores!

Daisy here, with some exciting updates of what your favourite Discordians are getting up to in the next couple of months...

THE SENTENCE
by Alistair Fruish
NON-STOP READINGS TOURING THE COUNTRY
conducted by Daisy Campbell
Three more readings of single syllable, single sentence, dystopian prison underground masterpiece, The Sentence.

AFTER THAT YOU'LL HAVE TO PRETEND YOU WERE THERE.

Following the success of readings at The Cockpit, London; Northampton Arts Lab and Liverpool Arts Lab, we are proud to announce the three remaining readings:

Airy Fairy Sheffield 21st January 4pm-8pm BOOKING DETAILS HERE (last few tickets remaining) - co-produced by Festival 23: Propogation of Wonder

Glasgow Arts Lab 11th February 1pm-6pm BOOKING DETAILS HERE

The British Library 25th March 2pm-6pm BOOK HERE

At the previous London reading, BBC's Robin Ince was one of the readers - and he had THIS to say about it. And here's what Alan Moore said.

PIGSPURT'S CHILD

NOW LOOKING FOR VENUES FOR 2018 TOUR
Having grown up repeatedly watching my dad's one-man shows (cheaper than a babysitter), I'm now marking the 10 year anniversary of his death with a full-blown Campbellian monologue of my own.

When Daisy summons Pigspurt (the daimonic side of Ken's personality) through an inadvertent act of gastromancy (the rectal invocation of dead spirits), he goads her to take her story to the end of the line - the Great Gnothing that the Gnostics talk of... The Gap.

You're a well-connected lot - if you know of/book/own any venues that might be interested in receiving this show from May onwards, please give me a shout.

HORKOS DAY

January 23rd is, of course, Horkos Day. There is a invite-only event in Brighton in which the previous Horkos Signers will prove they have completed their pledges, and (assuming they have, and we don't have to burn the book), the next round of intrepid Signers will be invited to make their pledges.

If you don't know what I'm talking about, and would like to go down that particular rabbit hole, here's me talking about it (please excuse the bizarre get-up - it was two days after The Dark Ages and I'd thrown fashion-caution to the wind).

Limited to 23 signers, if you are interested in signing please reply to this email. NOTE: You must be able to come to Brighton on the 23rd in person.

The first signing of The Book of Horkos, before Horkos had claimed the book.

OTHER EVENTS NOT TO MISS

BAD CINDERELLA

Thought Panto season was over? Oh yes you did...

Well it's not. You'll spot a few familiar Cosmic faces in Bad Cinderella, including our very own Eris, aka Claudia Boulton. It's on at The Cockpit for two nights only, 20th and 21st of Jan. I'm going on the 20th. BOOK HERE

KEN
by Terry Johnson

For those of you that missed Ken when it was on last year, you have a chance to catch it again at The Bunker from January 24th BOOK HERE. This is a stonker of a show, and features what can only be called an invocation by the extraordinary Jeremy Stockwell. Don't miss.

RAW DAY VIDEOS

All the talks from RAW DAY 2017 in Santa Cruz are now available to watch HERE. Including talks from Christina Pearson (Bob's daughter), Erik Davis, RU Sirius, John Thompson, Adam Gorightly and Richard Rasa (Hilaritas Press). I hope you enjoy them.

OK. That'll do for starters. Toodle pip.
