February News & Events

February is an exciting month at the library. We will have an opportunity for you to meet a real live wolf, pick any book with a wolf to be entered into the Big Wolf Read contest, come to Story Time, make an adult craft for Valentine's day and join us for Book Club!

Big Wolf Read & Ironwood Wolves Visit 
During February we are having a BIG WOLF READ. Children can read any Orrville Public Library book about wolves and put their name in a drawing in the children's department for a cute and cuddly stuffed wolf toy. 
The BIG WOLF READ Program runs from February 1st-28th. On February 16th at 2pm, we will have a live wolf here at the library! Ironwood Wolves will be teaching us all about our wolf friends. It's a family friendly event for everyone! 

Adult Craft Night

We will be making a cute retro truck Valentine's day sign on Thursday, February 8th at 6pm. Registration is required and begins on February 1st. Spaces are limited and they fill up quickly so call the library to register at 330-683-1065. 

STEAM Team Thursdays

Kids grades 4 - 6 are invited to explore the world of S.T.E.A.M.  For this program you will register once for the entire 3 week session on Feb 8, 15, and 22. To register contact the Children's Department at 330-683-1065.

Storytime Registration

Registration begins Monday, February 12th and Story Times begin the week of February 26th and end the week of April 16th. Call 330-683-1065 to register. Class sizes are limited.

Ironwood Wolves

Come see a live wolf on February 16th at 2pm, as the folks from Ironwood Wolves give us a look into our wolf friend's everyday life. This is a family program for all ages. 

Reading Challenge Ends

Make sure to turn in your Readopoly and Movies Turned into Books sheets to the Children's department to claim your prizes before Saturday, February 17th at 3pm. 

Book Club

The February Book Club selection is "Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine" by Gail Honeyman. Stop by our Circulation Desk to pick up your copy of the book. The group will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 20 for discussion.

Reading Challenge Ends

Make sure to turn in your Reading Log to the Information Desk before 6pm on Wednesday, February 28th for your chance to win a Kindle Fire Tablet!
