AUSSIE TITLES 2018 - ENTRIES

Just 12 weeks until the Aussie Titles are on our shores. Early bird entries have now closed and normal and late entries are now available. Please see relevant dates below. Entry forms are on the notice board in the Operations shed.

ENTRIES CLOSE:

Normal entry - which means if you have your entry in by the 4 March 2018 the cost of entry, is $105.00 per competitor.
Late entry – which means if you miss both other entry deadlines and have your entry in by the 25 March 2018 the cost of entry, is $155.00 per competitor.

OCEAN SWIM – Please note this is a separate event and is $45.00 as part of Normal entry and $55.00 as part of late entry. On the day entry $60.00. Entries for this event can only be completed through online web form- https://sls.com.au/aussieoceanswim/

Payments for the Aussies can be made through the normal portal, or at the office during office hours or direct deposit. Please quote your name and that it is for Aussies 2018.

Aussies 2018 - Lifesaving and First Aid Competition to be held at Trigg SLSC

The Club will be hosting the Lifesaving and First Aid events for the 2018 Aussie Titles. This is a great opportunity for the club to pick up some extra funds through operating the Kiosk. Competition days run from 8am to approx 4pm Mon 16/4 until –Sat 21/4. To facilitate the kiosk being open we are seeking volunteers to help out over this period. We would be looking at this stage to man the kiosk from 7.30am to 2pm with two shifts - 730am to 11am and 11am to 2pm.

If you are available to help please let Norm Waldeck or Ash Palmer know.

Belt Race Training

Come along and learn about belt racing and join the team. Training sessions for new and experienced competitors will be held at Trigg Island Saturday mornings commencing at 9 am.

We would welcome club members whom would like to assist our belt competitors by becoming a belt team member.
Belt competitors require a team of 4 to pay out line.

We currently have 3 girls in our Under 19 crew! We need one more rower, does this sound like YOU??
Pop down on Sunday morning at 8am to have a go!!
All new rowers in all divisions are welcome.

FRIDAY NIGHT MEAL TONIGHT

Friday night meals and the bar will only be open once a month for the remainder of the season, the dates wil be:
• 19th January
• 16th February
• 16th March

Outside caterers will be used for the meals with a different cuisine each month and cost will be $15 per head. Please find below the menu for January.

Pre-payment is required via the online payment system to secure your meal.
The members draw will still take place at 7pm. Hope to see you there!
