Put a Lid on it! Mandurah Footprint Project
Play your part in creatively increasing awareness of the health of Mandurah's waterways.
Put a Lid on it! is an extension of the footprint project Walking Together with Pride
that originated at City Beach Primary School, Perth in 2016. This arts-led project will explore the impact that single-use plastics have on Mandurah’s environment.
School students and community groups will be asked to make a pair of footprints that incorporate single-use plastics that have a detrimental effect on the Peel Inlet and surrounding waterways, including plastic bottle-tops and fishing line.

Pixelism
By Paul Fleetham
Exhibition Dates | Fri, 9 February – Sun, 4 March
Exhibition Launch | Fri, 9 February, 6pm
CASM presents award winning Mandurah artist Paul Fleetham in his first solo exhibition. Pixelism, featuring prints and projection from his vast collection of digital artworks.
“I love, the freedom to explore down whatever path the ART wants to go. The style is then not the most important aspect of art making to me. There is only creativity and different ways of expressing it. So while I consider myself to be predominantly a Digital artist who uses a computer and graphic programs to create with, I usually call myself a Pixelist, which I think this has a softer edge to it and is a better fit.”
Artist talk | Thurs, 22 Feb, 6pm
Gallery Hours | Wed – Sun, 10am – 6pm

CASM Cultural Eco Garden
Volunteer day February 2018
Volunteer day: Tue, 6 Feb, 10.30am – 12pm
With great thanks to project manager Helen Coleman and the garden volunteers, the CASM Cultural Eco Garden is looking and smelling fantastic!
The garden began transformation in November and now contains almost 30 different endemic (local) species, all of which have traditional Noongar significance for bushfoods,
medicines or tool/textile uses.
December was another busy month for the volunteers, building natural habitats for goanna’s and more recently developing the site for three fish/frog ponds.
The next Cultural Eco Garden volunteer day is the first Tuesday in February. Bring your hat and join Helen and other volunteers for a morning of garden activities followed by a bush tucker tasting.
For further information about the project and volunteer group contact Helen Coleman on
