Efvet members have been invited to participate in mobility work placement for students/ career counsellors, who brings their own Erasmus grant or want to pay the travel themselves. The programmes are offer in the Academia network under the EUROguidance centres.

Projects News
TechSenior multiplier event
On the 17th and 18th January TechSenior partners met in Brussels. The first day they discussed about the different aspects of the project. The following day, a multiplier event took place where the last results were presented to members from EAEA, European Commission and other stakeholders.
LOST new project
On the 28th and 29th of November 2017, it took place the kick-off meeting of LOST (Learning Opportunities, InStruments and InvestigationTechniques to fight the growing phenomenon of missing people in Europe).
LikeHome project partners met in Brussels
The meeting of LikeHome: Assessing and recognizing the prior learning of migrants: Bridging the gap and paving the road to educational and social integration project took place in Brussels 13th and 14th December 2017 and discussed numerous ways in which newly arrived migrants and refugees could be offered education and social integration.;
Digital Competences 4.0
The first kick-off meeting DC4WORK took place in Frankfurt (Oder), Germany. The project aim is to make strong use of the positive, promotive perception of digital competences and their importance for employees but also trainees at work, in society and on a political level.

Cometa’s learning approach reaches the European Parliament
Punto Cometa (Italy)

The Erasmus+ project Trio to Success has come to its end. After the Multiplier Event entitled “The value of the School-Work integration” organized on October the 30th 2017 in the Oliver Twist School of Cometa, the project’s final step was to define some proposals for European politicians.
Experimentation of the new path of secondary school

The Institute in Frosinone is one of the selected group of Italian schools admitted to the experimentation of the new path of secondary school in four years instead of five. This is an important opportunity to implement innovative and flexible teaching strategies in order to achieve the best learning outcomes on a short length.

Yesterday-Today-Tomorrow/ The Adventure of Endeavour
iSMEK (Turkey)

The Exhibition titled “Yesterday-Today-Tomorrow/ The Adventure of Endeavour” is opening on 5th January. The works of ‘İSMEK Fokus Group Design Workshop’, consisting of experienced trainers and students of ISMEK, will be exhibited at Naval Museum under the consultancy of academician designers.
 
 
Get to know The Placement Factory: new EfVET Member

Edinburgh-based company The Placement Factory is forging ahead, building links with clients across Europe, despite being in business for little more than two years. The Placement Factory is an international career development specialist offering bespoke training opportunities to graduates and undergraduates, field research programmes for professionals and development program partnerships with international educational organisations.
 
 
Get Close to the Opera
Materahub (Italy)

The GET CLOSE TO OPERA project will develop and promote inclusive and multicultural arts education and training programmes seeking to support best practice in migrant and refugee contexts. The training methodology will use Howard Gardner’s Multiple Intelligence Theory and focus on Opera as the delivery artform.
