We have some wonderful events coming up for our Lutz Preparatory community.  We hope you will show your Bolt Pride by attending our annual Bolts Bubble Run and Golf Tournament.  Registration websites are up for both events, please see full details below.

Important Information for Current K-8 Out of County Residents
Updated 2018-19 procedures for Out of County Residents to enter Hillsborough County Schools:
  • Out of County students returning to their current charter school for the 2018-19 school year NO LONGER NEED TO COMPLETE the form to enter Hillsborough County Schools each school year No forms need to be turned into our LP registrar for returning students for 18-19.  Please contact our registrar at admissions@lutzprep.org with any questions.
  • New or transfer students will still need to complete the form the first year they enter a charter school.
  • Other local counties are in the process of deciding if residents need to apply to exit their home county, more details coming out from each county in the next few months regarding 2018-19.  Please contact your county of residence Choice Office with any questions regarding any new procedures they are requiring.

Yearbook Sales
2017-2018 Yearbook sales have started and will be accepted through Thursday, March 1, 2018.

Purchase yearbooks online by visiting: 

Order forms and envelopes were sent home with all students to purchase by cash, check, or money order payable to: Lutz Prep PTA.  If you need additional copies please stop by the front office.

NEW:  PTA Yearbook Website
Please click HERE to visit the PTA website for everything related to yearbook.  From this site you can:
  • Get link directly to the Interstate Studio website to place an online order.
  • Help out the Yearbook Committee by uploading classroom/field trip/school events that will assist in creating a memorable yearbook for our school.

2018-19 Intent to Return or Transfer
Below is a link to the Intent to Return Online Form that we send each year prior to our enrollment lottery.  You will complete two additional intents in the future:  one at end of the school year and one mid-summer.  The completion of these forms 3 times each year is required by all current families to continue your enrollment at Lutz Preparatory.  Confirming each student's intent (to return or to transfer to another school) will allow us to accurately account for our 2018-19 student enrollment.  
  • You must complete ONE Intent to Return form for EACH STUDENcurrently enrolled at Lutz Preparatory School in grades K-7.  Eighth grade students do not need this form completed as they are transitioning to high school.
  • You will need your student's 7 digit Hillsborough County ID to complete this form.  If you do not know your student's ID please send an email to admissions@lutzprep.org to request it.  
  • Deadline for submission is Thursday, February 1, 2018 at midnight.  
Any family who does not complete this form will be contacted individually to confirm their intent for the next school year.  Please save us time and complete the online form by the deadline.

Do you have additional children not currently enrolled at Lutz Preparatory K-8 that you would like to enroll in the 2018-19 school year?  All students not currently attending Lutz Preparatory must apply via our enrollment lottery.  Please see the Admissions tab of our website for full details.

K-8 Enrollment for the 2018-19 School Year
  • 2018-19 Intent to Return online form for our current K-7th grade families is linked above and is due by February 1, 2018 at midnight.
  • The K-8 Enrollment Lottery for the general public will be held on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at 1:00 PMCurrently enrolled K-8 charter students DO NOT need to apply for the lottery.
  • If there is a sibling of a current K-8 student who is NOT ENROLLED at Lutz Preparatory School K-8 and you would like to enroll them in 2018-19 they must go through the lottery process outlined on the Admission tab of www.lutzprep.org.

Show on the Road Musical Theater EC3-8th grade
We are so pleased to present The Little Mermaid Jr. coming to Lutz Preparatory School. This exciting musical for grades K-5 will be directed by Ms. Jessica Schoenfeld and Ms. Reena Aldridge. If you aren't registered to join us, please do so by visiting www.showontheroadtampa.com/classes. Our semester-long class session will include in a full-length, hour-long production of The Little Mermaid Jr. with lights, sound, costumes, scenery and a whole lot of singing, acting and dancing. All students will have a fun, well-rounded part in the play! We can't wait to journey "Under the Sea" with you!
