Starry Constellation Trail

Explore the night sky by following the constellation trail both inside and outside the Museum. Find out how we group the stars and why, who named them and which is the brightest. Collect the hidden letters to spell a word and win a prize.

Planetarium – An Indoor Adventure to the Stars

Rockets & Telescopes
Wednesday 14 February

Having a go at lots space themed craft activities. Build and launch your own rocket and make your own working telescope. Create PomPom and shadow planets and animals. So just pop in at a time to suit you, stay for half an hour or the afternoon.

Dales Drama

A social evening and a reading of a short play by Dorothy Radcliffe (1887-1967) from her book "Dales Drama"(1923). Part of the Friends of the Museum annual lecture programme. Free - Donations Welcome.
