Next CBID Meeting January 25th

339 8th St @ 6th Ave - 7:00pm

President's Message

This will be my last President's letter. My two year term is up and at the January 25th meeting a new President will be elected. One of my promises when I was elected was to have a contested election for the office when I left. That did not happen but we do have a talented and capable person in Asher Novek who is running for the position so I am happy to hand things over to him.

I was thinking I should write some profound recollection of my time serving CBID as your President. It was a very challenging time with the election of a person who will undoubtedly go down as our worst president ever. There is a lot I wish we had done as a club but I think we should look to the future now and this year's election cycle.

We should work hard to get rid of the IDC, all it's members, Hamilton for sure, but also whatever we can do against the others as well.

We should pick a candidate against Donovan and we should support Andrew Gounardes.

And of course, we need to support David Pechefsky in his race against the Trump-lite Lee Zeldin. David would be a great addition to Congress and a great public servant.

I have enjoyed my time as President of CBID, I hope I left the club stronger then when I came in and I look forward to working with you all in the years ahead.
