We are excited to blaze a trail through prayer of what God will do in 2018!
In order to do this, we first are being inspired by reading a daily devotional on prayer. (Friday the 12th is Day 5.) Then, we're praying about our dreams and goals for how God can use us in the coming year, using our Christ Centered S.M.A.R.T goals. And thirdly, we're praying for different ministries and members each day. Here is the prayer list and direction sheet for that.
Isn't it great to start the year by getting closer to God, and focusing on what will please him? Let's do this together, and stride with joy and strength into 2018.
New Midweek Schedule
The midweek schedule for 2018 for Auburn only for the spring semester will be:
Week one - House Church
Week two -- Men's Night at one location and Women's Night at another
Week three -- House Church
Week four -- D Groups -- men and women of each house church will meet separately for group discipling times.
Week five -- Special activities
Marriage Retreat
The North River Church of Christ Young Married ministry is hosting a marriage retreat on the weekend of February 9 - 11 in Chattanooga. The theme for the event is "Take Me Away With You," and the speakers are Jeff and Lisa Chacon. The retreat cost is $60 per couple, and $134 for each night in the Double Tree Hotel.
