You are invited to the Trinity Great Banquet!

This is a wonderful opportunity to set aside 72 hours to become closer to God without all of the worldly distractions.
The Great Banquet is an orderly, structured weekend designed to strengthen and renew the faith of Christians.
Through a combined effort of laity and clergy, the Great Banquet focuses on the renewal of the church.
The image of the Great Banquet comes from Luke 14:15-24. Jesus tells of a master who prepared a great banquet and invited many guests, saying "Come, for everything is now ready." Many had excuses and did not attend. Finally, many were brought who were poor, crippled, blind and lame. The result of the master's invitation was to feast and fellowship at a banquet given by God.

Who should attend the Great Banquet?
This weekend experience is for anyone who:
1. wishes to strengthen his/her own spiritual life;
2. wants to have a better understanding of prayer, the sacraments, study and Christian action;
3. strives to live a Christian life that bears fruit for God;
4. seeks to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and to make Him known.

You are invited to be a guest at the Great Banquet given by God and to feast on His goodness and love.

Men's Banquet: February 22-25
Women's Banquet: March 1-4

Marriage Retreat

Plan now to attend a retreat for married couples that will enhance and strengthen your relationship with each other and with God. Holy Cross is hosting a "Marriage Encounter" weekend April 20-22, 2018, at the Comfort Suites Indianapolis. Couples will spend the weekend together in retreat to refresh, re-energize and reconnect with each other. The cost for the weekend is $100 registration fee. All other costs are covered. For information or to Register, go to www.hclc.info/encounter… or speak with Bob & Rosie Meister (rgmeister@comcast.net). Don't delay, space is limited!
Brochures are at the Welcome Center desk.

Unable to go? Sponsor another couple: pay their registration fee for them. Encourage healthy marriages. It makes a great gift!

Humor

A little boy returned home from the grocery store with his mom. While his mom put away the groceries, the little boy opened his box of animal crackers and spread them all over the kitchen table.

"What are you doing?" asked his mom.

"The box says you shouldn't eat them if the seal is broken," said the little boy. "I'm looking for the seal."
