Winter Fun @ the Cottage

Cottages are not just for summer, there's lots to do at the cottage this winter. Join us in the following activities:

SUPER BLUE MOON LAKE WALK: Join us on Wednesday, January 31st, 7:00 p.m. for a moonlit stroll on the lake with Hot Chocolate to follow.

WINTER CARNIVAL: On Saturday, February 17th, 2:00 p.m. Join us for games & chili contest.

BIG BALD LAKE BEAVER ICE MELTING CONTEST: On now - get your vote in for the day the Big Bald Lake Beaver goes through the ice on Saunders Bay, deadline February 28, 2017 - enter below.

FACEBOOK LIKES CONTEST: We just reached 325 Likes on Facebook. Once we get to 350, we'll draw a name for a prize.

PHOTO CONTEST: And don't forget to get snapping some great winter pics.

Big Bald Lake Beaver
Ice Melting Contest

Pick the date you think the ice will melt enough for the Big Bald Lake Beaver to fall through the ice on Saunders Bay to win.
This year's prize is a $100 gift certificate for Frederick's at Beachwood Resort.
Entry Deadline: February 28th
Dates must be unique, so get your guess in early.

Winter Carnival
& Chili Cooking Contest
Join us on the family day weekend, Saturday, February, 17th on Saunders Bay to skate, red neck curl, etc., with your cottage friends & neighbours.

Games and activities begin at 2 pm, Chili Contest at 4 pm.
Warm yourself by the fire with Hot Chocolate all afternoon.
Parking available at 43 Saunders Road (snowmobiles can park on the ice).

Super Blue Moon Lake Walk
Join us for a walk on the lake during the super blue moon on Wednesday, January 31st. We'll start at 37 Fire Route 85 (Walsh Rd, home of John & Nancy Boyce) and end up back there to warm up with Hot Chocolate. Parking available in the driveway and across the road.

The actual super blue moon eclipse will be at 7:28 that morning in the Peterborough area.
