STL Symphony: 50 Years at Powell Hall
Tuesday, January 16, 2018 (10:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
Central Library

Celebrate the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra by visiting St. Louis Public Library's upcoming exhibit "STL Symphony: 50 Years at Powell Hall" on display January 16 through March 17 at Central Library, 1301 Olive Street.

The St. Louis Symphony Orchestra is the second-oldest orchestra in the country, but it lacked a permanent home for most of its existence. In 1968, the St. Louis Theatre became Powell Hall and the official home of the Symphony.

The Library's original exhibit will feature historical posters, conductor's sheet music, photographs and other amazing memorabilia from the half-century.
