Baghdad Bombing
According to officials, Monday marked the second deadly attack on Baghdad in just three days. Two suicide bombers killed at least 35 people and injured over 90 in a twin attack on the country's capital.  The attackers targeted the bustling Tayran Square during the morning rush hour. On Saturday, another suicide bomber attacked Aden Square in northern Baghdad, killing and wounding several people. No group has claimed the bombing but there is speculation that it is ISIS related.

Columbia
Bridge Collapse
During drainage construction on the Chirijara suspension bridge, ten workers fell off a 900 feet drop to their deaths.  The suspension bridge was originally designed as  an extension to the highway between Bogotá and Villavicenci, a large city southeast of Columbia's capital.  Almost 260 feet out of the 1,500 feet extension bridge was still incomplete when it collapsed.  Columbia's National Infrastructure Agency  is still investigating the cause of the accident.
