How was your weekend? A bunch of people in Guernsey spent it making games for the Global Game Jam 2018, and you can hear about them at Lunch && Code tomorrow (Wednesday) lunchtime! A lot of frantic work (and takeaway) went into making them, so please do come along and support :)
Four games were completed over the weekend, all taking a different spin on the theme "Transmission":
- a narrative comedy adventure game about the end of the world,
- a physical electronic game about defusing a bomb,
- a strategy game about capturing nodes before an AI does
- an arcade game about eradicating a spreading disease with missiles
We'll have at least one member of each team to give a little bit of information about them and how they were made. Hope to see you there!
