Community Conversations: Election Security in Wisconsin
Wisconsin Elections Commission Administrator and Sun Prairie Resident, Mike Haas, will facilitate a discussion of election security, its historical context, and the protections currently in place.  Where problems exist, what can local community members do?

Family Adventure Day
Families play, create, and explore together! Each month will have different activities. You never know what we will do, but you know we will have fun! Family Adventure Day is geared toward grades K-5, but all ages are welcome with their adult. This is a time for the adults to stay and play. No registration is necessary.

Are you looking for creative inspiration? Then this is the place for you! Explore a new craft project every month, under the expert guidance of Sun Prairie's reigning craft queen, Kathleen Chapman! Topics will include scrapbooking, home decorating, simple clothes mending, & you can even bring your unfinished crafting projects along for encouragement needed to finish them up! Advance registration appreciated, but not required.

Valentine's Day Double Feature
It's a double date!  Two movies for the "price" of one, and the popcorn is on us.
Enjoy our afternoon matinee Victoria & Abdul (rated PG), which tells the story of friendship between Queen Victoria and the young Indian clerk, Abdul Karim.
Then stay for the evening film The Mountain Between Us (rated PG-13, runtime 112 minutes), a story of strangers stranded by a plane crash, who must forge a connection to survive.

Public Engagement

The City of Sun Prairie is excited to announce the launch of Polco, an innovative platform for residents to engage with their local government. Through Polco, you will be able to answer questions, posted by the City, regarding matters affecting your community.

Polco makes sharing your opinion with the City accessible, easy, and convenient. The information obtained through these surveys will help inform the City’s decision-making process. To ensure the City is receiving feedback from members of its community, Polco uses the local voter registration database to ensure participants live in Sun Prairie.

Residents can sign up by visiting https://polco.us/ and creating an account. Polco’s platform is available via web, mobile, email, and any place Polco e-ballots are found online. This service is free to use.

SUN PRAIRIE QUILTER’S WEEK!  FREE FAMILY QUILTING WORKSHOP!
The Sun Prairie Parks and Recreation Department and the Sun Prairie Historical Library and Museum have teamed up to offer a Family Quilting Workshop!  This program is free and there is no advanced registration necessary.  Come learn about different quilt patterns and create your very own patterned paper quilt!

Sunday, March 11 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at the Westside Community Service Building (2598 West Main Street)
 
The Sun Prairie Historical Library and Museum will have their collection of historical quilts on display during the first half of quilting week.  Come stop by to see these beautiful works of historical art at the Westside Community Service Building located at 2598 West Main Street.  The quilts will be on display on the following dates and times:

Police Department

Lieutenant Kevin Konopacki attended an appreciation ceremony for our city's school crossing guards. We are very appreciative and grateful for all the work our city's crossing guards do to ensure that our kids get to and from school safely each and every day!
