BACPS Late Winter Program
Date: Saturday, February 3, 2018
Time: 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm
Location: Rockridge Branch Library, 5366 College Ave, Oakland, CA 94618
Program: Nepenthes of Sabah, Malaysian Borneo
New BACPS member and avid carnivorous plant enthusiast and grower, Alexander Young, will share his travelogue and science inquiries from his journey to Borneo. Last summer, Alexander travelled to Sabah, Malaysia and trekked from the lowlands of the Klias Peatlands on up to the highlands of Mount Kinabalu. Alexander is a scholarly and talented upper school junior at The Harker School in San Jose, California.
We will also discuss the upcoming ICPS Conference, old and new business, and as always, we encourage members to bring their favorite carnivorous conversation piece, plants for sale or trade, food or snacks, and any extra donor plants, cuttings, gemmae, or seeds for our fundraising raffle. We're looking forward to seeing you all again!
