Each year the Print Council of Australia commissions Australian & New Zealand artists to create new, original limited edition prints for the Print Commission. Prints from the selected artists will be exhibited nationally and collected by State institutions, galleries and private collectors.

The Overwintering Project, Mapping Sanctuary
The Overwintering Project is an ambitious, long-term project by printmaker Kate Gorringe-Smith. The project seeks to raise awareness of our migratory shorebirds and their fragile habitats by inviting artists to make them visible. Open to humans everywhere with an interest in birds and printmaking.

Visual Artist Residencies


SOMA Summer 2018 Residency, Mexico
An eight-week program open to international artists, curators, critics and art historians. The program is in English and located in Mexico City. It is designed to promote intense creative work and open dialogue, for artists who wish to critically analyse their work whilst developing new ideas.
