We are grateful to the Manitoba Bleeding Disorders Program for allowing the Chapter to have a representative at pediatric clinic, this past January. We were able to set up a display of CHS resources in the waiting room many of the children’s books and booklets were taken home. We had the chance to welcome a new family, visit with families and hand out sports bursary forms.
We will be at the next clinic, February 14^th. If there is something we can bring from the office, we would be happy to take it along.

We are pleased to announce that the Product Experts at Manitoba Liquor Marts will enlighten our guests by expertly pairing the dinner courses at the 2018 event!
Are you baffled by pairing wine and food? Do you always turn to your “go-to” beverage? Here is an opportunity to have an expert do the work for you and introduce you to something new and wonderful!

Chapter members Sandra and Ed Sprenger are a proud aunt and uncle of Winnipeg Blue Bomber running back, Andrew Harris! Andrew graciously donated a signed jersey to the 2018 Gala Dinner.

That’s not the only Bomber jersey we have this year! Our friend Brayden Miller asked the Winnipeg Football Club to make a contribution to the Gala, and they donated a jersey signed by the team! Help from our members and friends make a huge difference to this fundraiser.

A valued service offered through the Member Services Program is parking reimbursement. This can be a huge help for members and immediate family (not friends) while a member is an outpatient or in hospital. The visit must be for acute bleeds or a clinic appointment and we have a daily limit of one vehicle per day, to current daily maximum of the lot.
The Chapter provides Impark stickers that are held by the MBDP nurses who will distribute them to members, as needed. For lots that do not take the Impark stickers, members may submit their receipts, within six months of date on the receipt.

CHS-MC Board elections are a part of the April 14^th Education Day and Annual General Meeting. Have you ever thought about becoming a CHS-MC Board Director? We have a number of current Board members who have served the membership over many years and who will be stepping back this year. While we will miss the contribution of these valued members, it is an opportunity to add fresh perspectives and new ideas.
The Volunteer Committee has the job description for a  Board Director on the Chapter website. Please take a look in advance of the call for nominations.
