Hi Everyone,
Is it just me or was 2017 a hell of a ride?
A big thank you for your belief and support though the birth of BRAVES' Coaching. Here's to all our hopes and dreams for the new year. 2018 brings some exciting and scary changes - none of them tried or tested.
First and foremost, I'm happy to be working with my dear friend and long time athlete, Elvia Suryadi. You'll know her cos she's a top Age Grouper. She's also an excellent nutritionist, specializing in endurance sports. Look out for her at our squad sessions and have a chat about your race - specific nutrition plan.
We're also glad to announce our new line up of sessions:
- Tues PM - Shark Attack - Swim strength session
- Wed PM - Track Attack - Speed and Tolerance Run Intervals
- Thu PM - The Hundreds - 100m swim repeats done right
Once a month, The Brave's will also be getting together for a casual Weekend Blowout. Starting with this Sunday's Trail Intervals, we're putting together some experimental and unique sessions, that will get the job done training-wise, but more importantly, remind us why we love this sport so much. Back to basics guys. Back to basics.
So, let's get this show on the road, 2018 is looking bright and beautiful!
Dig for Fire,
Shem

I am a 43 year old Singaporean, married with no kids. I have three beautiful dogs at home. I was fairly active during school days with swimming and Judo, but after I started working in business development, with frequent traveling, entertainment, social engagements and unhealthy eating, my weight ballooned from a 67kg in 2002 to a 96kg. On numerous occasions, doctors had advised me to consider regular high blood pressure control medication.
