MARK YOUR CALENDAR: NGSU Finals, Feb. 27

The 2018 NEXT GREAT STARTUP competition is underway!

The Next Great Startup features OSU student-led teams working to turn their startup ideas into real companies. This year, teams are competing for a share of more than $70,000 in combined cash and in-kind services to help them launch their companies.

The competition is now underway. VC coaches have selected 10 teams that will compete in the Semis on Feb. 13, where four finalists will be chosen.

Come see the Finals on Feb. 27th, at 530pm in Stirek Auditorium, in Austin Hall on the OSU Campus. Attendance is free and it will be a great show.

APPLY NOW: Willamette Angels Conference

Oregon startups are invited to apply for the Willamette Angels Conference. The WAC offers the opportunity for entrepreneurs to network with investors, gain exposure in the local business community, and pitch for investment funds.

Each year the WAC brings local entrepreneurs and investors for a day-long conference in Corvallis or Eugene. Companies apply in advance for a chance to earn a spot in the conference lineup, and at least one company will walk away with a seed investment from the angels.

The deadline to apply is Feb. 23, and the application fee is $175. Companies that submit before the early-bird deadline on Feb. 12 receive a $50 discount.
