The Prom Committee will be meeting on Thursday, January 25th immediately after school in room 113 for any junior or senior interested . Please see Mrs. Bateman or Ms. Glass for more information.
Hey SSVT, Do you have some one that you appreciate? Looking for a way you can show that person you care? Student Council will be selling carnations and chocolates for delivery this upcoming Valentine’s. Look for the student council sales table at your lunches
Driver's Education is starting again on Monday, February 26th. It will meet on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday' afternoons from 2:30 to 530 PM until March 19th. If you are interested please sign-up on the South Shore Driving Academy website. Please choose the SSVT location. If you received a scholarship letter from Mr. Aubrey in the fall about Driver's Ed and would like use this option please see him directly.
Sports Announcements 1/22/18
1. The girls varsity basketball team defeated Southeastern 33-26. Jenna Grande had 6 points. Jade Watts, Rory Sneyd, Brianna Ruffin, and Taylor McKinnon all played well.
2. The varsity boys basketball team lost to Southeastern 73-54. Jake McLarey led the team with 19 points and Brennan Kane added 16 points.
3. The JV boys basketball team improved to 8-1 with a win over Southeastern. Pat Wilson and Brian McClain led the team with 10 points each. Kyle Stec added 9.
4. The freshman boys basketball team fell to 6-4 with a loss to Southeastern. Matt Veiga led all scorers for the vikings.
5. The boys and girls basketball teams host South Shore Christian Academy tonight. JV boys 3:30, varsity girls 5:00, varsity boys 6:30.
6. There will be a meeting for anyone interested in playing baseball this Thursday after school in the gym.
7. There will be a meeting for any girls interested in playing lacrosse this spring in room 304 after school on Thursday. See Ms. Doherty with any questions.
