About the Author Kelly McNelis is the founder of Women For One, a place where women from 50 countries share their powerful stories with the world. Over 500 Truthtellers, as Kelly calls them, have answered her call to action: Make life happen by sharing your messy brilliance. Their stories range from the devastating to the delightful, and everything in between.

Kelly is a mom, wife, friend, mentor, businesswoman, Reiki master, minister, healer, incest survivor, and firm believer that there’s no such thing as “TMI.”

Formerly a nonprofit and small-business consultant, Kelly now travels the world as a speaker, teacher, and workshop facilitator, empowering women to find their voice and discover their true power. She has interviewed global changemakers including the late Dr. Maya Angelou, Arianna Huffington, Regena “Mama Gena” Thomashauer, and Byron Katie, on the importance of cultivating our own inner wisdom and truthtelling voices.

Kelly’s work, husband, kids, and brilliantly messy life are based outside Seattle.

RCH is working closely with Kelly and her husband as they break ground on their custom build. Kelly, we’re excited to share in your life through 2018 and congratulations with your book!

Employee Spotlight: Steven Hettema

"In a world of technology, computer screens, artificial intelligence, virtual and augmented reality, there’s nothing like building something tangible, something you can touch, something that brings physical comfort and safety to others. Building brings me back to the wholesome life I remember growing up on the ranch."

Experience With the start of the new year, Steven Hettema, joins RCH in the role of Vice President of Sales. Raised on a Northern CA ranch, with 3,000 apple trees and 60 head of livestock, Steven left his idyllic childhood and began his early career, first with the US Navy, based at Kitsap, where he worked in submarine units, Special Forces and Strategic Warfare Combat Crews; his career transitioned to that of civilian small-business owner, when he built a residential and commercial construction company with a national reach in 33 states around the country. Most recently, Steven also worked in the corporate world.

Outside of Work Spending more than three decades living in the Pacific Northwest, Steven couldn't imagine living anywhere else. Everything he loves to do and spend time on, are right here. As a husband, father to six, and experiencing the added joys of two grandchildren, Steven's hobbies include hunting, fishing, golfing and spending time with family. He shares that he loves to read and work to improve himself every day. Steven's planning his next vacation as a surprise trip for his wife and says "She's going to Freak!" when he sets it up as a trip to New York, with an itinerary that actually continues onward to Italy, one of her favorite places!

Industry Perspective Steven shares that his greatest joy with work, is when he hands over the keys to a new (or renovated home) to a client and sees their smile, hear their words of appreciation, and observes their thankfulness within their happy hearts.

Steven we're so glad you're part of our work team!
