Baltimore Figure Skating Club

Congratulations!

To Ting Cui and Ryan Dunk who both medaled at U.S. National Figure Skating Championships in San Jose.
Ting placed third and won the Bronze Medal in Junior Ladies while Ryan placed 4th and won the Pewter Medal in Junior Men. Ting has been chosen to compete in the World Junior Championships in Sophia, Bulgaria, March 5-11. 
BFSC will send off Ting to Junior Worlds at 1:30 p.m. Sunday Feb. 25. 

 

Competition results

2018 Eastern Synchronized Skating Sectional Championships Jan. 18-21 in Fort Myers, Fla. 

DC Edge, Novice level team (pictured), which includes BFSC members Emily Feldman and Sophie Soltanian, placed 4th overall and qualified to compete at the 2018 U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships in Portland, Ore., Feb. 22-24.

Also: Reese Bruning, Pre-Juvenile, Chesapeake Synchro, 4th Initial Round, 7th Championship Round; Holly Levy, Intermediate, Team Delaware, 7th; Savannah Metzler, Pre-Juvenile, DC Edge Blue, 2nd Initial Round, 4th Championship Round; Matilda Trimble, Juvenile, Team Delawre, 6th Overall; 
Wendy Shu, Open Collegiate, UMD Terrapin Red, 8th Place.

Tests Passed
Congratulations to the following skaters who passed tests: 

Claire Sanses, Senior Moves (Gold Medal); Reese Bruning, Pre-Preliminary Moves; Kathy Sack, Adult Starlight Waltz completing Adult Pre-Gold Dance; Chloe Roberts, European Waltz; Risa Jampel, Adult Viennese Waltz.
