Thanks for your interest in volunteering at Tour O the Borders 2018. We'd love to have you onboard as a valued member of the events team. Helping at these events can be a lot of fun and you get a backstage, up-close experience of the event.
These events would not be possible without volunteers so any help that you can give is hugely appreciated.
We're looking for volunteers from Friday 31st August to Sunday 2nd September. Friday 31st & Saturday 1st are event village and course preparation days (course taping, route prep, etc.), Saturday 1stSeptember is registration day, Sunday 2nd is event day.
Hope you're up for it! Once you let us know your availability (below) we will allocate you a specific role on any/each day you say you can help. Once this role has been allocated you will become a very important part of the event production, so please let us know as soon as possible if your availability changes.
All volunteers will have an unforgettable experience! And, if you marshal for a full day on event day, you will also receive £35 expenses.
We will be in touch approximately 2 weeks prior to the event to confirm your availability but we can guarantee that if your sign up for event day you will be needed to help.

The Event takes place on a route that starts in Peebles and travels in a loop through the Ettrick and Yarrow Valleys all located in the Scottish Borders. We hope that volunteers can arrange their own transport to the event locations, however if this is not possible please let us know and we will be happy to help you out where possible.
