Celebrating the 11th edition of the LSFB
In a new format including a panel discussion

The 11th Edition of the Life Science Forum Basel
Is due to take place on

Thursday, 7th June 2018
 The Registration desk opens at 13:30 hours and the sessions begin at 14:00. There will a delicious Apéro Riche from 19:30 and, as always, plenty of opportunities for networking throughout the afternoon. The Event is due to take place at our usual location the

Pharmazentrum/Biozentrum of the University of Basel
 The institute is centrally located in Basel at the Klingelbergstrasse 50, 4056 Basel-City. We will have two floors to ourselves and an area for exhibitions and coffee breaks.

Artificial Intelligence in Life Sciences

Besides our usual lectures we are very proud to have, for the first time, an extension of our programme by adding an idea that has been brewing in our heads for a while: the joining of the DayOne team with a stimulating & summarizing Panel Discussion!

Our theme this year is *Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Life Sciences*.
We are looking at the way new tech is transforming our environment when machines are learning, creating new opportunities and demanding new kinds of collaboration and, of course, new strategies for using genetic data effectively and safely with deep learning and cognitive computing.

As soon as we have the confirmation of the chosen Speakers we will present to you a draft agenda for the 2018 Life Science Forum Event.
