Hello from Washington!
Many of you may be thinking the same thing, "Aren't his prayer letters usually in the mail?" The answer is yes, but things are changing! With the wedding and beginning my new family and continuing my training, letters were getting a little expensive. However, for those that prefer something to put on their fridge I will gladly print and send you a paper letter. If that is you, or someone that you know that would rather that, feel free to contact me at any one of the methods below.

In the last few months have been quite busy and very fruitful. God has provided and protected me as I have navigated through His path. First off, I would like to thank you for all your prayers throughout my tests, and announce that I was able to pass all of them in the first round! Because of this I have received my Airframe mechanic's certificate, the first of two certifications as a mechanic. This means that I can legally work on aircraft without supervision, though that is unlikely to happen considering that I only have my first rating, and I will still be in school for two more years.
Beyond this I was also able to get a job here in Spokane. This was an answer to prayer so that I can better support my wife when we move into our own place after the wedding. I work at a place called Caruso's, which could be compared to something like Qdoba, except with pizza, sandwiches, and salads. Through this I have also gotten to interact more with those that are not saved, which can be hard going to a Bible school. I am praying that God will open more opportunities to talk with my coworkers about my beliefs.
Another news worthy item that some may have heard about is actually from Moody itself with many changes of leadership and closing of Moody Bible Institute Spokane. While all these things came as a surprise to all of us, God knows what the plan is. The good news is that Moody is keeping the aviation school around despite closing the biblical studies campus. Through the months of discussing and planning, Moody has given us the go ahead to get adjunct professors to teach the classes that we need at the hangar. Because of this, both Kirsten and I will be able to continue on our education!

In other news, WE GOT MARRIED! We are super thankful for all of you that were able to join us to celebrate our wedding. It means so much that we got to share such an amazing time with all of you! After the wedding we got the opportunity to travel down through Texas and into New Mexico and Arizona and up through California. It was a wonderful time to be able to get away from the busyness of wedding planning. We are also thankful that we have a place to live in Spokane that is reasonable in price and size in a decent neighborhood. We also made the decision to invest the gifts that we were given at the wedding to send Kirsten back to school for another semester. However, in order to do this we have to be able to pay off her school bill of $3805.12 by April. We are going to need to raise $1,268.38 by February 20th. We know that this is not an ideal situation, however, we decided that this was the direction that God was taking us and we decided to follow Him and allow Him to show His power in a way we couldn't imagine. We thank you so much for your prayers and support and we look forward to seeing what God does!
