Let's Talk About Grants

So, by now you've heard us talk about how to edit on Wikipedia and how to use The Dashboard, a tool that helps us keep track of the number of edits made on Wikipedia during an event. On Tuesday, February 6th at 1pm EST we're diving into how organizers receive grants to help them cover the cost of childcare and refreshments during their edit-athons. Co-lead organizer McKensie Mack will walk you through the process of applying for grants large and small to get the funds you need for a successful Art+Feminism edit-a-thon. RSVP to let us know you're coming.

WikiData Tutorial at The Met

On Tuesday, February 13th The Met will host a free event to mark the one-year anniversary of its Open Access initiative. The day will include an Art+Feminism themed WikiData Tutorial and a conversation between Katherine Maher, Executive Director, Wikimedia Foundation and Loic Tallon, Chief Digital Officer, The Met, moderated by Dennis K. Berman, Business Editor, The Wall Street Journal. RSVP online to attend.
