Welcome to the Roller Skate Life Newsletter February 2018.

This newsletter is presented by the Es Quint Foundation, powered by Quadsk8 International and supported by Ginger Skates.

Thank you for supporting our goals and activities. In case you just joined in, welcome on board and may your journey through life be a soulful one!

Motion is lotion for the body and the brain!
And what better way to keep the mind sharp and the body in great shape, by engaging into roller skate training. All exercises can be adjusted to your personal physical and mental status.
Although we know pretty well by now, how the brain and body responds to roller skate training, it is still amazing every time - and very rewarding - to see adjustments and improvement happen and unfolding during practice.

Challenging your balance on roller skates is a very direct responsive and thus a very confronting way of getting to know your body and expanding its potential. Combining your practice with music of your own liking, will make your journey of challenges, discoveries and highlights, a soulful one. You can choose to keep all the magic to yourself, or share your experiences with others and help them in their journey. It's all good.
There are no downsides at all.

How about falling or getting injured otherwise?
Well that's where we get in, in terms of extensive knowledge and experience, resulting in special designed exercises to minimize discomfort and prevent injuries.
More than often, we see many trainees making profound changes in their behavior, capabilities, what they think of themselves and even their outlook on the world around them. And it's all good.
Again, no downsides. At all.
Our fun loving partners in roller crime, Marcel & Esther of Ginger Skates, are taking a soulful break from February till May 2018!
They will be present at the upcoming February Seminar at the Es Quint Foundation, but shortly after, they will  be heading for Canadian territory.
We wish them a fantastic break and we're looking forward to having them back fresh and replenished with a Canadian touch!
Check out their full announcement.
Our professional rhythm skate trainers seriously getting into character, during one of the superfun Hour of Kids Roll Power on Saturdays!

And to stay on a serious note, they have a message to share:

NO KIDS ROLL POWER TRAINING
ON
SATURDAY 10TH OF FEBRUARY!
Due to the International Weekend Seminar.

The basic form of the Leanback Loop. A very effective drill to develop full awareness of how to shift weight to lean back and loop around. Steven in this snippet here is getting tired around the 1.0 mark, but he doesn't give in and that's where the real adaptation phase kicks in. Sweat pours down his forehead, but he is determined to continue the drill, so he switches to a more economic use of force and he's doing an excellent job.
Steven in his own words :

Now that is exactly how you control your roll and take yourself to new levels!

A delicious and funkalicious menu for the upcoming Riffs & Routines February 2018 Roller Skate Training Weekend Seminar!

You can still sign up through our registration form!
