Celebrating Women's Voices

Hello everyone,

We hope this finds you well and with a good start to your week.

This morning we excitedly launched our crowdfunding campaign to support the Rebellious Sounds Archive.

You can now watch our campaign video, find out how your pledge could support our work in communities across the South West and the brilliant rewards we have on offer.

The Rebellious Sounds Archive is for everyone to experience. This resource of women's activism stories from the South West will contribute towards the growing national picture of activities and events this year and remain an inspiring platform for celebrating women's stories long in to the future.

Please pledge and help us reach our goal.

Marking history

Tomorrow, (Tuesday 6th February), is the centenary year of the Representation of the People's Act becoming UK law. This law gave women over the age of 30 'with property' the right to vote for the very first time. This paved the way for full enfranchisement in 1928.

We will be visiting Parliament as they launch their year long programme of events, which is hugely exciting for us. We will keep you posted via our social media feeds.

Say hello on tour

The Rebellious Sounds Archive launches on Wednesday 14th February in Exeter. This marks the start of it's tour across the region. Needless to say we are very excited about the booth finally going on tour to discover more women's stories and engage with people from all walks of life.
