It's National Career and Technical Education Month and as you can imagine, the 916 Career & Tech Center is excited to celebrate all month long! Help Others Gain a Competitive Advantage!
It's not too late to spread the word about how the 916 Career & Tech programs help ignite student's passion for living-wage, high-demand careers. It's registration season and our member schools and districts have until February 23 to enroll to get priority for our programs. As you know, the high school experience is no longer the one-size-fits-all model of years gone by. Serving 14 districts and over 20 secondary sites can be a challenge when it comes to ensuring that our home high school students, parents, counselors and other staff are aware of our amazing programming. YOU are a VERY valuable asset and ambassador of our success

Parent Portal is the tool to use to track your student progress. This is particularly important if your student is eligible for college credit. If you signed up for Parent Portal, you will receive your activation code within the next week. If you do not receive it by September 26, please contact portalhelp@916schools.org.

Did you know?
- Students have access to over 20 programs at the 916 Career & Technical Center because they are residents in one of the 14 school districts who are members of the Northeast Metro Intermediate School District 916.
- The 916 Career & Technical Center is located at Century College, we are a separate school with our own phone number, website, and main office.
- This year we serve approximately 875 students.
- Over 2750 college credits were earned by our students in the 2016-17 school year.
