February's fine in Phoenix! Here's our take on biking news his month.

March 24, 10 a.m. meeting
If we want Phoenix to be a better place to ride bikes, there's work to be done! Hear the latest and get involved. Everyone is welcome.

Changes to 3rd & 5th Ave.
We met representatives from the City of Phoenix, and AZTEC Engineering Group to discuss this important bike route. Big changes are coming.

Little Canyon Trail update
For-profit GCU continues its push to swap this important connector for a pocket park down the street. From the project page: Phoenix has approved city staff to proceed with formal public notification process. This begins a final round of public meetings. Stay tuned.

Use this app!
Thanks to Calvin Thigpen of Bikemaps.org, who came to our January meeting to tell how to use the app to report a bike theft, hazard, collision or near miss. The near miss data is critical to showing a need for improved infrastrucure!

Public meeting on 20th Street project
There's a meeting on February 15 at Camelview Elementary School to see and comment on proposed plans for 20th Street. It's an open house, so get there any time between 6 and 8 p.m. Or, bike there with us!

New month - New survey
The Maricopa Association of Governments active transportation plan wants to know your preferences on how streets should look and function. Give MAG a piece of your mind.

City of Phoenix bike projects
The City of Phoenix continues efforts to improve its bike facilities. For information on many of the projects, visit the Street Transportation Department's project page.

Coronado Home Tour
Come visit with Phoenix Spokes People at the Coronado Home Tour Sunday, February 25. It's a beautiful neighborhood. See you there?
