Lakewood Businesses Encouraged to Show Support for Hometown Olympian

Lakewood’s own two-time World Champion, Nicole Hensley, will soon add another achievement to her bio -- Olympian. Nicole will make her Olympic debut goaltending for the U.S. Women’s Ice Hockey team Feb. 11 against Finland. Nicole is a Green Mountain High School graduate and attended Dunstan Middle School and Rooney Elementary in Lakewood. To help her go for gold, we are encouraging the business community to come together to show our hometown hockey star Lakewood will be rooting for her! Lakewood Economic Development has flyers to hang in windows and to post to social media. Don’t forget to use the hashtags #TeamUSA , #WinterOlympics and #PyeongChang2018 when wishing Nicole good luck on social media! Businesses wishing good luck on Twitter can tag Nicole at @NicHens29.
