Happy Winter Olympics and Happy Valentine's Day from the CWEA! 
First Friday Happy Hour at
The World Chess Hall of Fame

Join The Young Professionals Board of the Saint Louis Chess Campus and the Central West End Association as they host their monthly First Friday event at the World Chess Hall of Fame on Friday, March 2nd. 

This event will feature the World Chess Hall of Fame Exhibit PINNED! A Designer Chess Challenge which is a partnership between the World Chess Hall of Fame and the Saint Louis Fashion Fund, to celebrate the intersection of chess and fashion. 

This event is free to attend but please RSVP in advance in order to provide accurate numbers for food/beverages.

28TH WARD MEETING on FEBRUARY 15TH: The 28th Ward Regular Democratic Club will have their monthly meeting on Thursday, February 15th at 7:30pm at Dressel's Public House, 419 Euclid. Come for dinner beforehand or during, or just to attend the meeting. The program will include a presentation by "It Starts Today," a new approach to campaign finance with a broader look to how we can support democratic candidates across the state.

Create your own terrarium with our expert assistance! We will guide you through the soil layering process, help pick out beautiful plant combinations and suggest ways to personalize your terrarium. Price includes all soil layers plus three plants but does not include the glass container. Please bring your own glass container and any personal items such as stones or shells that you would like to include in your terrarium. If you would like to purchase your container from Bowood, please do so at least one day prior to the workshop. Workshop is limited to 10 people.

Mizzou professor & "poet on the rise" Gabriel Fried reads from newest collection
