Dear Port Fairy Folk Festival Friend,
In our first program announcement we released that we were presenting two special performances of Exile - Songs & Tales of Irish Australia, featuring a specially formed ensemble of artists exclusively for Port Fairy. In January Rhythms Magazine journalist Tony Hillier spoke to Shane Howard, Creative Director and lead artist. We are delighted that the CD and DVD will be launched at Port Fairy. The following article is reproduced with the permission of Rhythms Magazine, and gives you a great insight in to Exile - Songs & Tales of Irish Australia.
