Harbinger of Spring

Nor will I then your modest grace forget,
Chaste Snowdrop, venturous harbinger of Spring,
And pensive monitor of fleeting years.

 
It's on Sunny, Snowy, days like these that you really think that the long days of Winter are finally in retreat. The Snowdrops are out under the hedge ready to welcome the longer, warmer days. 

It is with this in mind that my thoughts start to drift towards Summer holidays and of course Spring and Summer skincare. I have some great Spring offers for you which are ideal to load up your bathroom cabinet and holiday skincare bags. 

Did you see the BBC Programme - The Truth About Looking Good.

It explored the importance of two of the most important products to have in your skincare routine in preventing ageing. They were Sunscreen (SPF) and Retinol, the only over-the-counter product scientists would use on their own wrinkles.

In the BBC TV programme Claire, a bus driver for over 40 years, had her face analysed with results showing her right side of her face had more skin damage, more wrinkles, than her left side. This is because the UVA rays penetrate through glass of her coach. Claire did not realise this and obviously has not been advised to wear an SPF daily.

Also there was a programme a few years ago about an American truck driver, Bill McGelliott, who suffered similar, but worse, conditions.
