The 2018 SAIS Global Women in Leadership Conference will build upon the success of four previous conferences on women and leadership to convene speakers and attendees from the public and private sectors, international organizations, media publications, and graduate students.

“Marching into an Equal Future” aims to provide participants with a multitude of frameworks to make sense of complex gender-relations in a rapidly changing world. Panels of distinguished speakers will discuss topics such as, "Shattering the Glass Ceiling: Women in Politics," "Defeating the War: The Role of Women in Armed Conflict," "The Problem with being Saved," and more.
