There are many tools and techniques that we can learn that will help us experience meditation. These tools and techniques help us to shift our external and outgoing attention, inward.

Typically there is a point of focus or concentration, for example the breath, a sensation in the body, candle gazing, a mantra or intention (Om Shanti / Peace) to give the active mind something to occupy it, diverting from the natural swinging of its dual nature.  

With continual repetition and concentration on one thing over a period of time, then a gap occurs, the mind slows down, the breath slows down and mediation simply happens. There is a quality of non doing. When Meditation happens, Yoga happens.

Journey to the Himalayas

Join Padma and Hasu for a once in a lifetime chance to see and travel in the Himalayas of India with two expert and very experienced teachers.

In October, 2018, a limited-size group will travel from Dharmsala to Kullu, in the western Himalayas, then to Rishikesh and New Delhi. This will be an adventure filled with meditation, yoga, philosophy, chanting and incredible hikes in the Himalayas.

New Class: Zero Zone Coaching
Zone Zero Coaching means to coach one’s self. In order do this we must understand our body’s language. In this class, we learn many of its signals as well as introductory elements of conventional strength training, Yoga asanas, Chi Gong, and self-massage. We bring comfort and alignment back to well-worked bodies.

Pre & Post Natal Yoga Teacher Training
Spend one weekend a month for three months immersed in training to become an effective yoga teacher to prenatal and postpartum students. This 60 hour training builds on a foundation of yoga, and delves deep into the physical, emotional, and spiritual transformation that occurs during all stages of motherhood. Students will be able to confidently work with mothers one-on-one or in a group class.
