Pickleball Open Gym Times for February at UWHSF

In addition to our regularly scheduled open gym times of Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and Friday nights from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., the following dates and times have been added to the calendar at the UW Health Sports Factory, 305 S. Madison Street, Rockford, IL. 61104 (please note the cost for open gym is $5 per visit - for those who visit frequently, a punch pass may be a benefit to you - please inquire about our punch pass with any of our customer experience personnel at the front desk should you be interested - as always the cost for open gym is $5):

COURT RENTAL FEES
Please note, that beginning Thursday, February 1st, 2018 private pickleball court rental fees will  increase by $2.  The cost to rent a private pickleball court will be $12 per court per hour.

2nd Annual New Year's Eve SMASH Event A Big Success
We would like to take a moment and say, "Thank You!" to all of those who participated in our 2nd Annual New Year's Eve SMASH Pickleball Tournament!  We almost doubled in size from year one; with a total of 53 players this year!  It was a great day with a lot of pickleball games played, a ton of fun and fellowship, and probably a few sore muscles thrown in there as well.  We hope to see everyone again for the 3rd Annual NYE SMASH Tournament, December 31st, 2018!  In closing, we would be remiss if we also didn't take this opportunity to thank Jenn Selchow and Lien Vu for their time and commitment to ensuring a successful tournament for all who came and played.  A sincere "Thank You!" to you both for donating your time to the event.  Your volunteerism and focus on making our community a better place to live, work, and PLAY is an inspiration and the pickleball community is enriched by your involvement.
